NATURE FOR WELLBEING EXPLORATION GROUPS

Weekly 1.5 hour drop-in sessions on Zoom. Upcoming dates beginning 3rd June, then weekly mostly on Thursdays, but some Wednesdays for variety! Book by clicking here.

Many of us found solace in the natural world recently. These weekly exploration groups offer a variety of suggestions to deepen this budding relationship, and to enhance the innate wellbeing benefits of time outdoors.
 

A playful, creative session using guided meditation, gentle breathwork, expanding our awareness with sensory explorations, and a 'sit spot' experience either in your garden, local green space, or at a window.
 

Everything is an invitation, do only what you feel comfortable with, and come as you are. It's ok to not be ok.


Mindful presence in nature can help us come out of our heads, into our body, calming our thoughts and soothing our nervous system.

WOMEN'S MOON CIRCLES - NATURE-BASED WELLBEING

Honoring our cyclical nature. A space for women to come together, pause, rest, replenish themselves and simply BE.

We will weave a cocoon of deep rest around ourselves, incorporating guided visualisation, nature-based mindfulness, breathing and creative activities.

Unpacking how nature connection can resource us at a much deeper level. Exploring the qualities and gifts offered within natural symbolism, cycles and seasons and the benefits of attuning to and responding to these in our everyday lives.

Throughout our journey we will explore ways to ease stress, anxiety, depression, loneliness, and generally support your wellbeing.***


Session 1: Reflection

Winter is traditionally a time of inner reflection, pause and slowing down, in some ways mirroring our recent global lockdowns. In this session we take time for ourselves, to reflect and to discern what no longer serves us and could be released. What losses need acknowledging individually and collectively?

Session 2: Presence

Gathering the above, honoring our journey and our present - wherever and however we are. Accepting with love things we cannot change and identifying smaller shifts we can make. What do we wish to retain and bring forward into our present/future? What seeds have we planted and wish to nurture?

Session 3: Unfurling

Preparing to move forward. Creatively visioning the seeds that are unfurling within us and within the wider world. What are our intentions, hopes, dreams and how can nature help us honor and sustain these?

 

These sessions will be a co-created experiential group journey including breathwork, sensory awareness meditations, nature connection experiences, storytelling, creative exercises, journalling and sharing in groups/pairs.
There will be invitations to do activities between sessions when on your daily walks or in an outdoor space you can access easily.

Beginning at the start of the celtic year in Autumn, we will journey through the seasons, observing the equinoxes and solstices, carving out ritual space for ourselves.

Deep nature-connection enhances wellbeing, supports our self-care, and honors the cyclical ebb and flow of our own energies. We will come into awareness of the seasonal cycles, the elements, and nature-symbolism and how it can relate to our own life-journey.

1st date: 29th Oct. Samhain.

2nd date: 21st Dec. Yule, mindwinter solstice.

3rd date: 2nd Feb. Imbolc.

4th date: 14th Feb.

5th date: March 21st. Ostara/Spring Equinox.

6th date: 1st May. Beltane.

7th date: 21st June. Litha/summer solstice.

8th date: 1st August. Lughnasadh.

9th date: 21st September. Mabon/autumn Equinox.

Each individual ritual celebration can be attended as a one-off. You can choose each of the dates individually from the dropdown ticket menu above. Alternatively, if you book for the entire celtic year cycle a discounted price is available.

ELEMENTAL JOURNEY

This series of five Zoom sessions will focus on how we can amplify our connection to the elements, and how this can bring us into deeper relationship with the interconnectedness of all life and the animate earth.

Throughout our journey we will explore ways to ease stress, anxiety, depression, loneliness, and generally support your wellbeing.***
 

Session 1: Air

The winds of change. Air flows from our lungs out into the world around the globe, and vice versa. What new thoughts/patterns do we want to share via these windstreams?

Session 2: Fire

The spark of life and catalyst of change. How can we turn intention into action? What awareness is necessary to prevent getting burnt, or burned out? Self care.

Session 3: Water

Water is synonymous with flow, life and emotion. How can we connect with water to invite the flow of movement we desire, which serves our higher self and brings our gifts to the world.

Session 4: Earth

What seeds are we planting at this time? What is bubbling up under the soil, awaiting germination?

Session 5: Interweaving the whole

Connecting first to the ever-present web of life. We are all one, we are all borne of the earth, are nourished by it and return to it in time. There is no separation between 'us' and 'nature. Nature connection exists as a constant, yet our perceoption of it can diminish.

***Whilst the hope is that these sessions will in some gentle ways ease stress etc from the perspective of self-help, this is NOT therapy. I do also offer standard and nature-based art therapy. If you are suffering from physical or mental health difficulties this is not a replacement for conventional medical support and medication. Please always see your GP as your first port of call.

***Please note that if group sessions do not have the minimum number of people the start date may be postponed by a few weeks in communication with booked participants. Alternatively full refunds can be issued in this situation, with my sincere apologies. Group sessions are designed and priced as such. I appreciate your understanding.
